2010 CENSUS “BIG FORM” ARRIVES IN ST. LOUIS, MO

WITH “BE COUNTED” MESSAGE

WHAT:

The 2010 Census “Big Form”, a super-sized version of the actual 2010 Census questionnaire, is coming to St. Louis, MO. The 2010 Census “Big Form” will show St. Louisans how easy it is to answer the 10 simple questions that make up the 2010 Census.  This event coincides with the Mail-Out of approximately 120 million 2010 Census questionnaires to households across America.

The 2010 Census “Big Form” measures 20 feet high; 16.5 feet wide; and 4 feet deep. The 2010 Census is holding “Big Sign” events in 13 cities across the country in which participants can learn about the 2010 Census and the positive impact their participation can have on their community. Census data is used to allocate the 435 seats in Congress, and directly affects how more than $400 billion per year in federal funding is distributed to tribal, state and local governments and non-profit organizations serving their communities.
